As a mom to two beautiful newborns, I understand the value and importance of capturing these early moments of your baby’s life! I had my first baby in 2019 , everything was new, uncertain, and scary. I wanted natural in-home newborn photos that I could show my baby girl when she was all grown up. I also wanted capture all the memories of that time for our growing family. Fast-forward to 2021 when we had our 2nd daughter and it was the height of covid restrictions. Photographers were limited and we were all trying to figure out how to do this. Thankfully we past that, and now I am here to capture all the memories of your first moments with your baby.

If you’re a new parent, you’re probably overwhelmed with all the decisions you need to make. Newborn photography doesn’t have to be one of them. Let me guide you through the process and provide you with all the information you need to capture the early moments of your baby’s life. What should I look for when hiring a newborn photographer?

It’s important to choose a photographer who specializes in newborn photography and has experience working with infants. At my studio, I have years of experience working with newborns and their families. I’m dedicated to providing a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable experience for you and your baby. I understand the importance of capturing these early moments, and I take pride in creating beautiful, timeless memories that you’ll cherish for years to come.

What can I expect during a newborn photography session?

During a newborn photography session, I’ll work to create a comfortable and safe environment for your baby, and guide you through the posing process. You can include your family members in the photos, and I encourage parents and siblings to participate in this special moment. If you have any specific poses or props in mind, I’m always happy to incorporate your ideas and preferences into the session. Keep in mind, I only use baby led, baby-safe posing. This means no buckets, hand under chins, or babies hanging from branches. You baby is perfect just the way they are!

To capture the best moments, it’s important to schedule your newborn photography session as early as possible, ideally within the first two weeks of your baby’s life. I recommend booking your session as soon as possible during your pregnancy to ensure availability.

Do I need to bring anything?

You don’t need to bring much to the session as most of the items your baby will need will be provided by the studio backdrops and blankets. However, I encourage you to bring a few personal items that you would like to incorporate into the photos, like a special blanket or toy (this is optional). My favorite sessions take place in the comfort of your home, so you don’t have remember to bring anything!

When will I get my photos?

After the session, you can expect to receive the final edited photos within 1 week. I offer a range of packages that include both digital files and prints. I’m happy to work with you to create a customized package that meets your specific needs.

How much does newborn photography cost?

My newborn photography sessions start at $250. I like to customize sessions based on what you are looking for. I’m dedicated to providing high-quality images & products that you’ll cherish for a lifetime!
