Ready to capture your story?
I’m here to capture your family’s story as it grows — one heartfelt season at a time. Motherhood is equal parts joy and exhaustion, beauty and chaos, and I see all of it. You don’t have to have it all together — that’s the magic of it. I’ll guide you every step of the way, so you can relax, breathe, and just be with the people you love. Together, we’ll create images that remind you how deeply you’re doing this motherhood thing — and how beautiful it really is.
From the maternity glow to every beautiful stage beyond.
Hey, mama!
Always. Safety comes first, always. I'm trained through Accredited Newborn Photographers International in safe posing and handling, and I never leave a baby unsupported. Every pose is baby-led and at your baby's pace — nothing is forced, and comfort always comes before the "perfect" shot.
Sessions take place in my New Richmond, WI studio at The Croix Studio, fully equipped with props, wraps, and backdrops, so everything is ready when you arrive. It's a warm, climate-controlled space designed specifically for newborns — no need to prep your own home.
Absolutely. Newborn photography sessions are designed to preserve connection and the beginning of your family’s story, so parents and siblings are always encouraged to participate.
No problem — not every baby settles right away, and that's completely normal. I have techniques to help soothe fussy newborns, and if we need to pause for feeding or comfort, we simply slow down. Some of the sweetest images come from wide-awake baby moments too.
Most newborn photography sessions last between 1–1.5 hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding breaks, soothing, diaper changes, and a relaxed experience without rushing baby.
The sweet spot is within the first 5–14 days, while your baby is still sleepy and easily posed into those classic curled-up shots. That said, every baby's timeline is different — I'll work with you to find the right window, even if you're already past two weeks.
Soft neutrals, simple textures, and comfortable clothing photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on your connection with your baby. After booking, I’ll send styling guidance to help make preparing for your session feel simple and stress-free.
Most families reserve their newborn photography session during the second trimester to ensure availability around their due date, though I always do my best to accommodate last-minute inquiries when possible.
