Let me know that you are looking for a maternity photographer

Please email me at mandie@alabasterphotos.com to let me know you are expecting and want to set up a maternity session. I’ll email you a booking proposal where you can pick the time and date for your session. Typically between 32 and 36 weeks into your pregnancy.

For 2024 I am offering a complimentary maternity session when you book your newborn session. Please let me know when you email to book that you would like both.

Make it a fun and memorable experience

Pregnancy can be overwhelming, but your maternity photography session shouldn’t be. I’ll create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, so you can truly embrace the beauty of this momentous occasion without any added stress or sweating. Whether indoor or outdoor session is up to you. I have a studio in downtown New Richmond that will provide the perfect space to create beautiful images of your pregnancy. I also have a variety of maternity garments if you would like to try them on beforehand and choose one for your session.

What happens during the maternity photography session

My maternity photography sessions are typically 20-30 minutes in length and you’ll truly feel like we are two friends getting together to get a cup of coffee. I promise to help you feel relaxed and to guide you along the way in your posing. My number one tip is to breathe and take in the moment. Pregnancy does not last forever and when you come in for your session you are nearing the end and about to meet your new baby.

How long until I see images?

I typically get a minimum of 20 images to you within a week of our session for viewing. If you have only booked a maternity session with me, I’ll send a link to your gallery that you can view for 24 hours to make your purchasing decisions. If you purchase the full gallery within 24 hours you will receive 10% of your invoice total. Once the invoice is taken care of, I’ll send you the images to you in a link for you to download and print where you wish.

What if I don’t want to purchase the full gallery?

I understand that you may only wish to buy one or two digitals or even just prints. If this is the case, I’ll send you a link to schedule a time with me to virtually go over your order so I ensure you get exactly what you would like. I promise it’s painless.
