A Place I Can Almost Touch
For years, there’s been a space living in my mind. Not just a physical space, but a feeling: light-filled, calm, and endlessly welcoming. A space where families can slow down, breathe deep, and see their beauty reflected back at them. A space where new photographers feel supported, not intimidated. Where creativity feels accessible, not exclusive.
That dream is now taking shape in downtown New Richmond, Wisconsin.
I’m working to create a photography studio that serves our community with heart, flexibility, and warmth. Not just for full photo sessions, but for the everyday moments that matter just as much. And not just for me – but for other photographers looking for a place to grow.

Why This Studio Matters
Life in a smaller town like ours is filled with charm. It’s grounded, it’s slower, and it’s deeply connected. But it can also mean fewer resources for creative families and budding artists.
This studio is about more than pretty photos. It’s about:

The Vision for the Studio
Here’s what I’m dreaming up for this cozy corner of downtown:
It’s for newborn snuggles, maternity stillness, and the beauty of just being together.
For the mama who wants a holiday card photo without the stress. For the grandparent gathering cousins in one place. For anyone who simply wants to remember.

This studio will also be available to rent – a resource for other photographers in our area. It will include backdrops, props, styled sets, and a safe, welcoming environment to create.
Because in places like New Richmond, creativity should be shared. And building your portfolio shouldn’t require a plane ticket or a big-city budget.

This Isn’t Just a Studio – It’s a Community Space
This dream is about more than business. It’s about building something useful and beautiful, right where we are. It’s about inviting families in, no matter their budget or background. It’s about creating a photography studio for photographers – and for the people they serve.
Whether you’re hoping for timeless newborn portraits, a five-minute memory with your kids, or a quiet place to try your first studio session as a photographer – this space is for you.

We’re building something tender, true, and just beginning to bloom.
UPDATE: We’ll be moving into the studio space April 1, 2026, with sessions officially beginning May 1, 2026.
