Milestone sessions celebrate your baby’s big first-year moments—typically tummy time (3–4 mo), sitter (6–8 mo), crawler/stand (9–10 mo), and first birthday (12 mo). After one year, many families return for 18 months and 2 years.
Sessions are held at my home studio in Emerald, WI either indoors or outdoors.
Most milestone sessions last 45–60 minutes. First-birthday/cake-smash sessions are typically 60–75 minutes to allow time for setup, cake, and quick cleanup.
3–4 months: excellent eye contact, sweet tummy-time poses
6–8 months (sitter): sitting unassisted, big smiles, chubby hands & toes
9–10 months: pulling up, cruising, personality galore
12 months: cake smash or classic portrait to celebrate one!
Preemies: I’m happy to use adjusted age guidance so baby is developmentally ready for each milestone.
Yes! We’ll begin with quick family/sibling portraits and then focus on baby. If siblings are very young, it can help to bring a second adult to step out with them after their turn.
Simple is best. Think neutrals, soft textures, and minimal logos. Rompers, knit sets, bloomers, or a favorite dressy outfit all photograph beautifully. I’ll provide a prep & style guide with color palettes and tips after you book.
Depends on my editing schedule; usually, you’ll get the full edited gallery in one week.

Yes, I travel throughout the surrounding area within a 30 minute driving distance of New Richmond, WI.
If your location is beyond my standard radius, a modest travel fee may apply (for driving time / mileage). We can discuss what works best.
