It’s a lifestyle documentary photography session that captures your baby during the first 24–48 hours after birth (usually while you're still in the hospital). These sessions focus on authentic moments—first cuddles, siblings meeting the baby, early bonding, hospital details etc.
Usually, you book before you give birth (often around your third trimester), so I’m reserved and ready. Once the baby is born, you’ll let me know and I’ll come to the hospital. Sometimes hospitals or doctors require notice, so earlier is better.
Typically, around 30‐90 minutes, depending on how many family members are present and how many moments we want to capture. We take the pace your newborn and family need—breaks for feeding, diaper changes etc.
Yes! Whenever possible, I encourage including siblings, parents, and immediate family. Those emotional first moments (siblings meeting baby, grandparents, etc.) are often some of the most treasured.
Some suggestions: bring baby blankets you love, a spare outfit, feeding supplies, comfortable clothes for parents, and any personal keepsakes or items you’d like captured. It’s also good to feed the baby shortly before the session if possible.
Neutrals or softer tones tend to photograph well; avoid large prints, logos, or very bright colors that distract. Mom can wear a robe, gown, or a comfortable top; clothing that makes you feel good is ideal—hospital gowns are totally fine if preferred.
Depends on my editing schedule; usually, you’ll get the full edited gallery days.
Minimum 25 images in both color and black/white.
I understand birth is unpredictable. If things change—baby’s arrival, timing, your comfort level—we can adjust. If a Fresh 48 session in the hospital isn’t possible, we can plan an at-home newborn session when everyone's settled.
No, I do not.
